NHS Northwick Park

63 Bed Modular Ward scheme including 15 Isolation Rooms for London North West Healthcare NHS Trust at Northwick Park Hospital.

What our dedicated team delivered across a 6 month period;

The project incorporated the installation of a comprehensive array of infrastructure components, including a standalone Plantroom, a wet heating system, a newly implemented chiller system, HVAC package, Building Management System (BMS), Medical gas supply, pneumatic tube system, and commissioning package. Additionally, the deployment of a new motorized smoke fire damper package, coupled with mains controllers, adhered rigorously to predefined cause-and-effect documentation and HTM guidelines.

All services were meticulously executed in accordance with established schedules and conformance to Healthcare Technical Memorandum (HTM) regulations.

Northwick Park Gallery

A significant amount of diligent effort and perseverance were invested at Northwick Park, and the installation clearly reflected this. The mechanical installation met all regulatory standards, demonstrating a commendable level of skill and adherence to guidelines.

NHS Kent and Canterbury Hospital

Four state-of-the-art orthopaedic theatres and 8 bed recovery delivered in record time for Kent & Canterbury Hospital.

This project entailed the establishment of a comprehensive infrastructure including a fully independent Plantroom, 4 surgical theatres, a recovery ward, and office/consultant spaces. 

It also involved the implementation of a complete package for chilled, heating, and domestic water systems, including a Cascade Boiler room, two domestic heat exchangers, and a full HVAC system, all compliant with HTM guidelines.

Furthermore, we successfully installed a sophisticated Building Management System (BMS) and medical gas system, adhering strictly to industry standards.

 Additionally, a meticulously executed commissioning package was implemented.

Among the notable additions are a new motorized smoke fire damper package, along with a mains controller, meticulously aligned with the cause and effect document and HTM guidelines. Moreover, the installation of a new 10,000-liter water tank and booster set/pump set, as well as a cutting-edge chiller, further enhances the facility's functionality and efficiency.

Overall, our team's dedication and adherence to professional standards have resulted in the successful delivery of a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

At Kent and Canterbury, we dedicated considerable time to focusing on the installation process to ensure strict adherence to guidelines. The client expressed great satisfaction with the installation, ready to hand over the building to the NHS.

NHS John Radcliffe Hospital

48 bed critical care building at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford

This Award Winning comprehensive project encompassed five floors, featuring an independent and newly constructed Plant room, 10 individual isolation rooms, and a complete HVAC package incorporating pressure regimes across 14 Air Handling Units (AHUs).

Our scope of work included the installation of a state-of-the-art BMS, as well as systems for Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning, including chilled and domestic water systems, along with two domestic plate heat exchangers. 

Moreover, we implemented Medical gas and IPS UPS systems, as well as DX systems. The project was meticulously commissioned in adherence to HTM Compliance standards and delivered punctually despite facing a challenging timeline. 

Furthermore, we installed a motorized smoke fire damper package in alignment with the cause and effect document and HTM guidelines. Lastly, we integrated a copper silver system alongside a new tank and booster/pump sets to ensure comprehensive functionality.

John Radcliffe Gallery

The installation of the five-story adult intensive care unit posed significant challenges, but we devoted our utmost dedication to it. The building has gained numerous awards, and we take great pride in our contributions to it's success.

NHS Derriford Royal Eye Infirmary

Three Story, 4 Theatre Eye Infirmary

The newly constructed three-story healthcare facility presented a challenging timeline and required expertise across various disciplines. A comprehensive installation included a standalone Plant room equipped with 6 x new Air Handling Units (AHUs), 3 x Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) each boasting a cooling capacity of 650kw and heating capacity of 410kw, 3 x uplifting units, a Manager 3000 Mains controller, 4 x Buffer vessels, 2 x Domestic plate Heat Exchangers, 3 x Pressurization units, Pump sets, a modern medical gas system, and a sophisticated Building Management System (BMS). 

This setup was complemented by a full HVAC package incorporating pressure control regimes. Additionally, an 8000-litre Water Tank with a Booster set was installed alongside a thorough commissioning process.

Furthermore, a brand-new motorized smoke fire damper package, in alignment with the cause and effect document and HTM guidelines, was seamlessly integrated into the system.
