Project Description:

Description – 48 bed critical care building delivered to the prestigious John Radcliffe hospital using MMC.

5 floors and 48 bed critical care building

This project consisted of 5 floors and an independent brand new plantroom, 10 number independent isolation rooms, a full scope HVAC package with incorporated pressure regimes and 14 AHUs! We also installed a brand new BMS system , a heating VT/CT water system ,Chilled and domestic water system, 2 domestic plate heat exchangers, Medical gas, IPS UPS, dx systems. We also completed the full scope commissioning package across the project all in line with HTM Compliance delivered on time with a challenging programme adhered to. A brand new motorised smoke fire damper package along side mains controller all delivered in line with the cause and effect document and htm guidelines. A copper silver system along side a brand new tank and booster /pump sets. 

Challenges:

  • Outdated Infrastructure: The existing centre suffered from outdated infrastructure, which hindered the hospital’s ability to provide the highest training available for their Consultants, Doctors, Nurses and Surgeons
  • Inefficiencies: Operational inefficiencies and limitations in the existing setup led to difficulties in managing patient flow and equipment use.
  • Patient Experience: Ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for our training undergoing existing coaching before they enter field.

Background:

AICU (Adult Intensive Care Unit), serves as a critical component of the healthcare infrastructure in the region. In an effort to enhance patient care and optimize facility functionality, the NHS sought a visionary solution that would revolutionize AICU (Adult Intensive Care Unit)
